Pelham Celebrates 4th Of July


The second annual “Fire on the Water” fireworks celebration at Oak Mountain State Park will happen around Double Oak Lake from 5 to 9 p.m. on July 3.

The festivities off Terrace Drive are a partnership between the City of Pelham, Oak Mountain State Park and others. Visitors can enjoy food from vendors including Dreamland BBQ, McAlister’s, Frios, Publix and others.

There will be a wakeboarding demonstration by FlipSide Watersports and live music leading up to the fireworks show starting at 9 p.m.

Regular park admission applies before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., visitors must pay $5 per carload. Additional parking and shuttles will be available at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater.

There will be no admission to the park after 8 p.m.
